Reflection time should bring out one’s own area of learning and area of improvement, not someone else’s.
The moment we focus on someone else, we have lost the purpose of reflection. We are often such experts of other people’s flaws that we forget to look at our own.
So the more we do self introspection, and be specialist of our own flaws, the more we will improve and find the space for success.
A good reminder from the bible [paraphased]:
“Why do you see the speck that is in another person’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?”
