Camera ownership today is quite like TV ownership, not one per family but one per person!
Anyone can have a personal photo gallery and many do. In fact, people can, if they so choose, set up their online gallery, sell pictures to or share pictures with stock photo service provider, record their own music albums, upload a home-made video, share their diary with everyone, or champion a cause with a blog.
Blogging is like offering your free book to a bookshop. Customers come to the section to browse, they read the books they like, they don’t touch the ones outside of their interest, and put back on the shelf books they don’t like. Not all people will like all blogs ‘on the shelf’ and they choose what they like. They don’t have to be nasty about the blogs they don’t like.
Now those who were unable to / too shy to / too constrained can find a voice, a space to freely express himself or herself.
Everyone wants to hear a story / most, if not all, want to tell a story.
