Not sure how many of you have watched cloud formation and especially the behaviour of storm clouds.
I am fortunate to be able to do quite a bit of it because I have a good view of the sky over the East Coast of Singapore. While I don’t get to see the sea but I do see the storm clouds very often, sometimes at 4 am, when lightening storms rage.
Today, I saw within a 15-20 mins span, a sight that I can only thank God for. What first caught my attention is the dark clouds gathering speed and pulling wisps of saturation – visible to my eyes like the fraying ends of a silk, but dark wisps. Thicker than streaks… and I was expecting the rains to come.. so I watched.
Lo and behold, in that short time span, even as I was praying – reminded of dark skies being indicative of major spiritual warfare in the heavenlies as portrayed in the novels by Peretti – I saw the change, which I never took the time to realise can happen.
The dark clouds rolled and pushed out over the horizon and the skies cleared – bright fluffy whites with the blue skies revealed. Like the beauty of the egg yolk against the white in a sunny side up egg during breakfast, I get to admire the beauty of the natural / calm skies.
